"In the cold metal gets more brittle... you're more likely to crack cylinders and blow oil coolers. Seals will fail if they're not properly heated up, and that's not good. It's an artform running (these machines) in the winter."

Wisecracking mechanic Adam has been around the Buffalo hangar since he was 10 years old. He's one of Buffalo's most experienced young mechanics, and he's no stranger to fixing an engine on a remote airstrip in -40C conditions. This season, Adam is groomed to be Chuck's second Electra mechanic, but when Chuck unexpectedly walks out of the hangar, Adam is left to get the Electra running on his own. With big Electra missions on the horizon, Adam is under enormous pressure to get the job done.
