This season on Ice Pilots NWT: the C-46 faces extinction due to a growing scarcity of exhaust parts, new Senior Manager Duane Hicks stirs up a sh*tstorm by pushing to modernize Buffalo with turbo-prop Lockheed Electras, Joe butts heads with his family and his pilots, testy mechanic Chuck Adams reaches the end of his rope and a new golden boy shakes up the rampie roster. Yet again, the unbelievable is the norm at Buffalo. Seasoned veteran Arnie drops a man-made bomb on a dam, young pilots Gord and Sean face a terrifying loss of oil pressure in the High Arctic, Adam travels to an isolated military station at the top of the world and Devan struggles with the sudden failure of the C-46's hydraulic controls.
